About Us

Pendolare was designed by Tara Sauvage for commuters everywhere. The brand idea came about when Tara was living on Eastlake Avenue in Seattle and she noticed all the bicycle commuters wearing ugly yellow backpacks on their commute. She knew she could design something better that would look great from the bike to the boardroom. Pendolare is located in San Diego, California.

Tara Sauvage

Pendolare bags are designed by professional handbag and accessories designer, Tara Sauvage. As the founder of the brand, Tara has been in the fashion and consumer goods industry her entire career. She has an MBA in Global Business from the University of San Diego and a BA in International Business from Washington State University. Tara is originally from Seattle and now lives in San Diego, California with her family and two dogs, Charlie and Jolene.
